Arsene Wenger is the majority shareholder in Arsenal Fan TV, an unofficial insider revealed.
Arsenal lost 2-1 to Swedish farmers Ostersunds at the Emirates, with Arsenal Fan TV’s reaction video picking up 162,000 views in less than 24 hours.
That translates to valuable income off advertising, with Wenger taking home a tidy pot of money according to unofficial insider Lee Satchell.
Satchell said: “Every dodgy result just puts more money in Wenger’s pocket.
“Why do you think he insists on playing Granit Xhaka as a holding midfielder every game?
“It’s no coincidence that he’s started playing a left-back in central defence and a midfielder at left-wing back and views on Arsenal Fan TV have gone through the roof.
“He even sometimes goes on the show disguised as Troopz. No one bats an eyelid as they’re all too busy teeing off at Alex Iwobi.
“It really is a bit of a master stroke from Wenger. He knows YouTube is where the money is at and he’s made it work for him.
“He’s still got a few surprises up his sleeve to make sure views stay high, so don’t be surprised to see Andre Santos return on a free transfer at some point in the not too distant future.”
