REAL MADRID and Juventus have already listed their players who will make the long walk from the halfway line in the Champions League final if it goes to penalties.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Zinedine Zidane and Max Allegri have named their players and we have broken down their success rate this season from spot.
It is believed the penalty takers for Los Blancos are Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Karim Benzema.
While Juve’s choice is Paulo Dybala, Gonzalo Higuain, Miralem Pjanic, Dani Alves and Sami Khedira.
First of all, Ronaldo has scored eight penalties this season and has missed just two, while Ramos has taken one and scored it.
But with the Portuguese star being Madrid’s No1 penalty taker, the other selections from Zidane have not taken penalties this season.
While more of Juve’s players have taken penalties this season with Dybala scoring six and Higuain and Pjanic having one to their name – with all of them missing none.
With just Khedira and Alves being the only players not to have taken a penalty this season.
Fan favourite Gianluigi Buffon has saved 29 of the 94 penalties he has faced throughout his career and has stopped one of the two penalties he has faced this term.
While Madrid’s ‘keeper Keylor Navas has faced more penalties this season but has saved just two of the seven he faced this season.
