WATCH: Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci argue over who got Lionel Messi’s shirt

In football, greatness recognises greatness.

Such was the case in Wednesday night’s Champions League match between Juventus and Barcelona, as Juve defenders Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci got in a light-hearted argument about who should get Lionel Messi’s shirt at the end of the match.

Already breezing through after keeping Messi and co quiet throughout the second leg and already leading 3-0 from the first, the Italian duo tried to get Leo’s attention in an attempt to make sure they had first dibs on the Argentine’s shirt.

Watch the hilarious clip below.

It must be nice to be bosses on the pitch and still maintain a decent sense of humour.

And Bonucci will be the happier of the two stars as he was the one who eventually got hold of the prize.

Bonucci said after the game: “Getting Messi’s shirt at the end of the game? I was pleased to have the jersey of the best player in the world. My son will be very happy.”
