The Major League Soccer season is well under way, but the fun has only just started in Flordia.
Orlando City have signed former Real Madrid attacker Julio Baptista, which means he’ll be linking up with compatriot Kaka.
The 34-year-old was last seen playing in his native Brazil at Cruzeiro and becomes the third samba star in the Lions’ squad, along with Kaka and Pedro Ribeiro.
He made his name at Sevilla where he transformed into a powerful attacker, earning the nickname ‘Beast’, while he scored ten goals for Arsenal during a loan spell from Madrid.
Baptista also turned out for Sao Paulo, Roma and Malaga during his career, before pitching up in the Sunshine State.
With Adriano playing just across the road for Miami United there’s going to be some big parties going off down South.
