
Not so long ago Bastian Schweinsteiger looked a million miles away from the first team at Manchester United.
But now he has made an appearance under Jose Mourinho and the Special One has revealed he could stay!
Well in all honesty it was more of an open invitiation rather than Mourinho begging for him to stay.
But at least it’s progress.
After Schweiny featured in their 4-1 EFL Cup win over West Ham, Mourinho said his Manchester United career could live on.

“If you have a contract, you are the powerful one that can decide your future. In January he is the powerful one – and with better feelings than before.
“Everybody was happy because when he was not training he fought against that and managed to do it without injury.
“He had been working for months and I thought it could be a good opportunity for him to play and help us.”
