Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been given a pretty penny to spend in January, with a view to strengthen Liverpool’s squad in the Premier League run-in.
And he wants to put a large chunk of it aside to buy Bayer Leverkusen star Julian Brandt, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The Reds manager has been given up to £40million to spend this month, with the club determined to continue fighting at the very top of the table.
And he’s hoping to use his old contacts in Germany to secure Brandt.
The 20-year-old winger is one of the hottest prospects in the Bundesliga and would likely warrant a high asking price.
Of course that means Bayern Munich are also heavily linked with the player, but Klopp is confident he can beat his old foes to the youngster’s signature.
Brandt hit the headlines last season when he became the youngest player since Germany legend Gerd Muller to score in six successive German league matches.
His excellent form for Leverkusen saw him included in Germany’s preliminary 27-man squad for Euro 2016.
He would certainly be a welcome addition to the Anfield club who have been hit hard by injuries recently.
Playmaker Philippe Coutinho is only just coming back into the squad following a lengthy lay-off, whilst forward Danny Ings is out until next season with a knee injury.
What’s more, Sadio Mane is set to play for Senegal at the Africa Cup of Nations this month, and could be out of the side until February if they reach the latter stages.
