How Jurgen Klopp is taking over Brendan Rodgers’ life

It’s one thing taking a man’s job but taking his home as well?

That’s what new Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has done after he decided to rent former Reds boss Brendan Rodgers’ penthouse apartment in the Sefton Park area of the city.

The 48-year-old ex-Dortmund coach visited the property at the weekend, taking his wife Ulla, her son and their German Shepherd puppy along for the ride.

We’ll assume that the dog’s innoculations are all up to date.

The Normal One will have to stump up an anything but normal £4,000 a month to rent the luxury flat but given that he’s just signed a £7-million-a-year contract to become the Premier League’s third-highest paid manager he should still have enough left over for his beer, fags and nights on the tiles.

But what next for Klopp? Well, if we were Rodgers’ girlfriend we’d watch out.
