Leicester beaten by Inter Milan to signing of Italian striker

Inter Milan beating Leicester to the signing of an Italy international striker.

In any other season you wouldn’t bat an eyelid at that statement, but this isn’t just any season.

The Premier League leaders have been left disappointed after Inter secured the signature of the striker from Sampdoria.

Eder, who has played eight times for Italy, turned down the chance to partner Jamie Vardy in the Champions League next season, to stay in Serie A.

Inter are currently fourth in Serie A, six point off Napoli at the top of the table.

Clearly living in Milan appealed to the 29-year-old more than Leicester but, for the life of us, we can’t understand why.
