Ronald Koeman is one of the Premier League’s busier managers this month, with plenty of transfer activity happening at Everton.
The Merseyside club have already snapped up League One starlet Ademola Lookman, while Manchester United’s Morgan Schneiderlin looks set to join the club soon in a £22million deal.
But it seems after splashing the cash this month, Koeman wants to balance the books by selling Gerard Deulofeu.
The Spanish winger looks increasingly likely to leave in January, with Serie A giants AC Milan a possible destination.
According to Di Marzio, the Milanese side are willing to go head-to-head with rivals AS Roma to sign the 22-year-old.
The former Barcelona youth, who was one of Everton’s key attacking players last season, has yet to score or assist a single goal in the Premier League this term, although he did impress in the FA Cup defeat to Leicester.
His disappointing performances this season have left many Everton fans disgruntled.
But with Yannick Bolasie out until next year, and any deal with United benchwarmer Memphis Depay seemingly way off, they may end up missing the tricky winger if he goes.
