Marcos Alonso sent Hector Bellerin back to Catalonia yesterday.
The Chelsea wing-back absolutely clattered his opposite number to score the opening goal at Stamford Bridge as the hosts won 3-1.
Bellerin was virtually knocked out cold by the impact and forced Arsene Wenger into an early substitution.
The Spaniard was rightly removed as you can never be too careful when it comes to head injuries.
You only have to look at Gunners keeper Petr Cech as a reminder of what can happen.
According to Wenger, Bellerin had no idea what the scoreline was in the immediate aftermath of the incident.
Worrying news as this example is usual evidence of a concussion which can take up to a month to recover from depending on the severity.
Replays showed that Alonso kept his eye on the ball the whole time and did not show any intent that he deliberately meant to hurt Bellerin.
These things just happen some times.
Still, we wish Bellerin a quick recovery and hope to see him back on the pitch soon.
