Fernandinho’s red card addiction has reached a peak.
Man City’s Brazilian midfielder was dismissed after 32 minutes for a scissor tackle on Johann Gundmundsson in the middle of the park.
Incredibly it was his third red card in his last six games and he will now serve a four-game ban. Ouch.
The highlight of the game was undoubtedly Raheem Sterling’s comical ‘assist’ for Sergio Aguero.
The England winger tripped over when he was through on goal but luckily the ball bounced off him and into the path of City’s deadly No10 to finish.
Elsewhere, Gael Clichy made a rare appearance on the scoresheet as the visitors held on for three valuable points after Ben Mee had grabbed one back for Burnley.
