Champions League and Europa League draw: Who’ve Man United got?

Thought you’d have a bit of breathing space after a stunning round of Champions League and Europa League games?

Think again.

The draw for both competitions took place in Nyon today, with Man United the only English representatives left.

So without further ado…

Champions League

Real Madrid v Atletico Madrid

Monaco v Juventus

Winners of Monaco v Juventus will be the home side in the final, to be played at the Principality Stadium, Cardiff.

Europa League

Ajax v Lyon

Celta Vigo v Man United

(Winners of Ajax v Lyon will be the home side in the final, to be played at the Friends Arena, Sweden)

So what does this mean for United?

A potential final against former winger Memphis Depay is well and truly on the cards, if Lyon are able to navigate past Ajax.

However there won’t be a reunion with Giuseppe Rossi, who underwent surgery this week after suffering another knee injury.

United’s defenders will have to deal with Iago Aspas, who’s scored 24 goals in all competitions, as well as ex-Man City striker John Guidetti.
