Mohamed Salah is presumably a very, very happy man right now.
Everyone’s favourite villain Sergio Ramos could be seen in tears as Spain were knocked out of the World Cup.
Boo hoo.
Russia eliminated one of the tournament favourites after a dramatic penalty shootout win which clearly proved too much for the centre-back.
The occasion was made even sweeter when fans saw the visible disappointment of Ramos after the result had sunk in.
He might well be one of the best defenders in the world and won everything there is to win in the game, but he’s also a notorious b*****d.
His status as football’s biggest b*****d was amplified x1000 in last season’s Champions League final, when he injured Mo Salah after wrestling the Liverpool man to the ground.
The injury ended Salah’s night and made everyone wait agonisingly to see whether he would make Egypt’s World Cup squad.
He subsequently was declared fit for the tournament, but everyone knows that he wasn’t completely recovered.
Nobody knows for sure whether Ramos intentionally injured Salah… he definitely did.
That moment saw a host of new members join the official Ramos hate club, including a large influx of enraged Liverpool fans.
So, after Ramos tried to ruin Salah’s life, everyone loved seeing an upset Ramos on the pitch.
Karma is a b***h.
