It has been confirmed Sergio Ramos dislocated England manager Gareth Southgate’s shoulder.
The incident occurred while our man Gareth was out for a run near the England training base when Ramos appeared from behind a bush.
Eyewitnesses confirmed Ramos used exactly the same move he pulled on Mo Salah in the Champions League final.
Southgate’s unofficial personal photographer Lee Satchell said he was during his usual duty of running backwards ahead of the England boss, to get the best angle, when he heard some rustling in a bush and the next thing Ramos was attacking Southgate.
“It all happened in a flash, one minute I’m doing a backwards Cossack walk to get Gareth’s best shot, the next minute Ramos came out of nowhere shouting ‘SIIIIIII’,” said Satchell.
“He was in full kit and ran straight towards the gaffer before locking arms with him and throwing him to the ground.
“It looked just like what he did to Mo Salah and as soon as I heard Gareth’s shoulder crunch I knew he had suffered a Ramos special.”
“It was all over in a blur as Ramos disappeared into a bush and that was the last we saw from him.
“I think it may have had something to do with Spain losing their manager and he wanted to do some damage to his biggest World Cup rivals.
“The saddest thing of the whole sorry case is that Gareth was on course to break his personal record for 10km.
“A really sad moment for us all.”
Satchell added that Ramos immediately got into a helicopter and headed straight to Kazan for Spain’s match against Iran.
