Roy Hodgson must have assumed that nobody was watching when he named the team against Costa Rica.

And he was probably right.

England were already eliminated when they took on the Central Americans in their final group stage game at the 2014 World Cup.

You should really be able to name an England XI from a major tournament.

But can you honestly get 11/11 from that utterly forgettable afternoon in Minas Gerais?
