To start managing a team towards glory and a share of the £500,000 prize money, all you need to do is select an 11-man team with a budget of £50 million.
Your team will score points during the season based on how well they perform in real life matches. Don’t worry if it doesn’t start too well as there are lots of chances to change your team line up through the season and over 250 cash prizes to win along the way.
For full details on how to get your team off to the best possible start expand the sections below.
Take a look at our Stat Zone section to see information on all the players you may want in your Dream Team.
We have given each player a fantasy value based on previous and prospective Dream Team performance and you need to choose 11 players for a combined total of £50 million or less.
Players are allocated a position on the list (Goalkeepers, Defenders, Midfielders, Strikers) and must fit in to either a 4-4-2, 4-3-3 and new this year, a 4-5-1 formation .
You will be able to access all the vital player stats and an overview of the selection rules when selecting your fantasy XI to make sure you’re on the right path to fantasy football success.
Your Dream Team players will gain or lose you points based on their appearances through the season. Points are scored depending on how your players perform for their club in Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Champions League and Europa League matches.

Picking a team and pitting your wits against the rest of the football loving nation is great fun and can add interest to any football match. But the entertainment doesn’t stop there and to help you make the most of your Dream Team experience here are a few things we recommend to get the best experience:
Mini Leagues
You can create your own Mini League simply by following directions after you set up your team. This is a private league, limited to those that you want to join you in playing and you will have your own message board and private competition against each other. There is no restriction to the size of your league and now you are able to create or join up to five Mini Leagues. So if you only want to look after one team but play in leagues against your office, department, friends or family separately then we’ve made it as easy as possible.
Dream Team Predictor
Brand new this year and arriving in October – Dream Team Predictor. Each weekend we will hand pick four football matches and it’s up to you to correctly predict the scores of ALL four games for the £7,500 first prize. Guess three out of four results right and the top 100 will earn £20 of Predictor tokens to target that main prize again.
The Captain
Earn Dream Team Predictor tokens throughout the season with your Captain pick. You will be asked to select a Captain when registering your team at the start of the season and you can change your selection as much as you like. If your Captain is named Star Man in The Sun’s match report then you will earn another token for a Predictor game.
